This art exhibition student from Tohoku University of Art And Design, "Connection," exhibits the artworks from Japanese art students. In Japan, I think art is not as popular as it is in the USA. Therefore, the Japanese art students are seeking a chance in overseas to challenge their talent.

I am happy to have an opportunity in Barismo to exhibit their artworks. As the organizer of this exhibition, I chose three talented art students. Please, take a moment to see their artwork and the essence of Japan's art.

“I am studying how to connect with people and society through general art. I am planning to become a teacher. I want to create arts that make anyone who looked at them feels they are exquisite; not only to myself but also to someone else. I wish my arts remain in people’s memory.”

“I am currently studying a degree at a university to become an art teacher. I have been drawing as a hobby but did not take it as a profession. It will be my pleasure if there is someone who likes my artwork.”

“I usually use beetles as a model. I am trying to express the power and beauty of beetles. I chose a blue color to represent the life of beetles in the art. I have been creating arts for the past one and half years, and I would like to continue drawing beetles. This is my first exhibition in overseas. I hope my artworks get the chance to be seen by many people.”
